    Hello –

    I run DoubleGSports.com and have just installed Connections with Tile Plus. Having a couple issues I’m hoping someone can help me with as I begin setting up my staff page.

    • As you will see, the page background is black and the background of the tiles is grey, with white wording that is very hard to see. Can these colors be changed?
    • Names and job titles are cut off on some. Any way to make them fit in the tiles?
    • What is the short code to change the order the tiles are listed?

    First, edit the page where you inserted the [connections] shortcode. Switch the post editor to the Text tab and remove any and all HTML tags that may be in and around the such code, specifically the pre tag and save the page. That will most likely fix the display issue.

    Tip…

    When copy/pasting from a web page, always, first switch to the the text tab. If you do not, any HTML tags that were copies will also be posted while in the visual post editor. This will always cause issues for you if you do not. This is not a Connections issue or bug, it is just how the post editor works.

    To display entries in a custom order, please see the doc page for the order_by shortcode option.

    How do I remove the ‘Select Category’ drop down search bar between my lists…
