The template looks great, but when I choose a category or search for a name, it shows me posts that match the category title / search – as if I used the search bar in the footer of the page, rather than showing me the contacts in the directory that match the search.
How can I fix it? Thank you!!
Can you share a link to your directory so I can take a look?
Yes of course, apologies for not doing that to begin with
(it’s currently populated with some dummy entries)
I took a look but I am sorry as I do not seem to understand the issue you are experiencing. I can search and filter by category and I do get the expected results. Could you provide some specific examples so I can mimic your results?
Whoa Steven, that is so strange, I’m so sorry. Yesterday when I posted it, it was showing me a list of posts on the website. Maybe because it was still a draft and I was previewing it and then when you asked to see the page I published it…
Thank you so much – and apologies for wasting your time! Best,
Ahhh… yes, a draft would cause that behavior because WP can not find the post to show the results since it is not published. Glad that was easily resolved!
Thank you :) !
