ParticipantHi
Great plug in, though it did take me a few hours to get me head around the short codes.
Firstly, I’d really like to make a few simple customisations.
1. Id like to move the social media icons to be at the bottom of the display card.
2. I’d like to remove the word “work” from below “work email” on the display card.
3. I’d like to customise some of the CSS colouring, eg just make the card background white rather than that grey.
Heres where I am mocking up the website.

- This can only be done by editing the
card.phpfile found here:
../wp-content/plugins/cmap/
After you open the file just move the line of code for the social media links to after the links line of code. IT should make sense after you open the file if you has basic working knowledge of PHP. - Use the str_work_email shortcode option. Here’s and example:
[connections str_work_email="Email"] - The CSS files are in this folder:
../wp-content/plugins/cmap/
Make you changes the the
cmap.cssfiles, duplicate the file and save it ascmap.min.css. Upload both, overwriting the originals. You will likely have to force refresh the browser to see the changes.Hope that helps!

GuestHi ya – okay so I tried reversing the order of things so the social media links appear last and it didnt work for me.
The code is at http://pastebin.com/uxi0Y8Ty
Any ideas?

Nope, that will do it. I think just triple check to make sure you uploaded the altered file overwriting the original. I preferred deleting the original, refreshing to make sure and only the uploading the new version.

GuestOkie doke.
Thanking you.
Just one final question.
Is it possible to make the drop down into a multi choice drill down?
Eg so someone can select say agriculture and placements of six months?
And it would then drill down to that.

GuestOops and one last question.
Is it possible to rid ourselves of the option to be an individual over at http://soundtracksforthem.com/comhlamh/?page_id=2332
just cos we want them to be organisations only

The only thing I can think of is you’re editing/uploading the the wrong file somehow.
What is the exact full path of the file and folder you’re editing? Try using the Plugin Editor to make the change instead. Using the plugin editor will ensure the correct file is being edited.
Another thought … do you have any type of page caching being utilized via the server or WordPress plugin?
Not sure I understand your “drill down” question, but I think you mean chained selects. If that is the case, sorry, no. The best that can be done is enabling the beta feature, multiple select. This changes the drop down into a drop down that permits multiple categories to be selected at once. For an entry to return as a result it will have to be assigned every category that the use chooses. I hope that makes sense!
Seems you figured out how to remove the individual option in Form.

GuestThe multi select would work perfectly. Wheres the info on the beta? Thanks.

GuestDude! Whats going on?! I definitely followed the direct paths last time. Just tried it there again, and it work this time.
Maybe there’s a batch of gremlins gnawing away on a Big Mac and spilling coke all over me Php Code.
Thanks! Now just for that Beta thing and this yoke is ready to populate.
