We use the categories to display the departments of our business. I would like to change the word “category” to “Department” Ive searched around in the plugin and some of the write ups but cant seem to locate how.
I saw one write up utilizing a plugin called “say what” but Im unsure if that is going to do what I need it to and the site is live at the moment so I would rather be 100% sure this would need a plugin over just editing a line in our template (cmap) or a setting Im missing
Yes, using the Say? What plugin is what you want to do. Here’s a link to the documentation for the cMap template which explains how to change its specific strings and well as links to the tutorial which explains how to use Say What to change the “core” Connections strings.
Hope this helps!
Thanks just wanted to know if Im on the right track. I will give it a shot. :)
took me a minute but it works.
Thanks a ton!
Great to hear! Pro tip, you can use Say What to change string in any translation reading plugin, not just Connections. ;)
