ParticipantI have the latest version of Connections with a CSV Import Version 2.02. For cleanup I exported all the data to a csv file. Worked great! I then updated the entries in the CSV file, deleted the entries in WP and re-imported the data.
To my surprise none of the Photo/Logo URL’s got imported, although the mapping was correct. Example URL from the csv file:
The I realized if I edit an entry I cannot even just cut&paste the URL in, I have to select a file. I now have to go through all of DB entries to fix the Photo/Logo by hand :(
Please fix the import and at the same token make the field to edit the URL cut&paste ready.
Thanks,

By deleting the entries, you deleted the photos/logos so they no longer exist. To update, do the export, make your changes and then import. But, make sure not to map the photo/logo fields on the mapping step.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantThanks for the quick reply. If I re-import and do not delete the entries, there is no option to skip duplicates. Or is that automatic if the ID is the same?

Keymaster@ Andy
If the Entry ID is the same in the CSV as in the database (which it would be if exported from Connections) the entry will update instead of creating a new entry. The Entry ID column also has to be mapped during the mapping step when importing, which should occur automagically.
Hope this helps!
