Using the names list template, the letter that shows for each grouping, ie A,B,C…
The group can continue to the next column. In the attached screenshot the E and P group show at bottom of the column with entries under it and entry continue on next column. They are marked on the screenshot.
Is there a way to not print the group letter, ie the “E” on bottom with having at leat 1 entry after it.
As it sits, it creates orphan entries on the next column, see red box in screenshot.
Could you force it to skip to next column if the first entry would not fit on bottom? Or could you just add the group letter to top of next column so that it is obvious what group the entries go to?
Also, is there a way to change the number of columns? I would like to have 3?
Where is the code that generates this? I would like to look at it also.
To my knowledge there is not a way to control where the header fall in the flow. The columns are implemented using CSS column-count. The file is in this path:
