GuestHi,
I am currently using the Bio-Entry Card 2.0.1 template, and I have setup for the Staff category, but the display shows the staff based on names in alphabetical order.
Is there a way to sort it based on the staff capacity; eg. Chairman, Executive Director, Director, Manager…..?
Or should I get another template which has this feature….please advice

You could use the order_by shortcode option to order the entries in a specified order. See example 2 on this page:
http://connections-pro.com/documentation/connections/shortcodes/shortcode-connections/order_by/
Hope that helps!

GuestThe staff directory, I placed them under the category Staff and the ID was 2,
the short-code used on the Staff page : [connections category='2']…after I changed to the specified with the shortcode :
[connections id='2,9,1,21,3,38,13,12,10,39,40' order_by='id|SPECIFIED']I noticed the display shows wide spaces after each fields….can see it at :
http://www.ecss.org.sg/about/our-staff/
how to cut down on all these blank spaces….
Thanks…

Looks like you copy/pasted the example code into the WordPress post editor while in the HTML tab. This will also paste the underlying HTML.
To fix that, you need to edit the page, switch the editor to the Text tab and delete the HTML that is in and around the shortcode. Specifically any
codeandpretags. After you do, that fix it up.Hope that helps.
