Guestre: when the user clicks on Logout is it possible for them to remain on the Directory page rather then going to the WordPress Logout screen?
That seems reasonable. I can make the widget default to the current page for when the user clicks the logout link. I’d have to push another update in order to make this change.
That would be great, just makes it less confusing for them I think.
re: I’d also like to change the View My Directory Link to a View Directory Link and again take them straight to the Directory page front end.
See this FAQ. It explains how to change just about any text you want in Connections. To change Link specific strings like “View My Directory Entry” you would use the connections_link domain instead. Other than that, the instructions are exactly the same.
Yes but this still doesn’t take them to the Directory page itselfre: For some reason the entry I have put in for david has duplicated and I’m not sure why. It has slightly different information on each listing but I can only see it once in the Manage section.
You have the [connections] shortcode on the page twice, remove the second one.
Thank you that did the trickre: I’ve changef the label of Biographical Information to Business using the css … This changes it on the front end but is there a way to change it on Form?
Following the instructions in this FAQ. It’s the same FAQ from my previous answers on how to change the text in Link.
That worked thank youre: I have entered a phone number in but it is not displaying and I can’t for the life of me work out why.
Did you set the visibility of the phone number to private or unlisted? It is set to public
Did you perhaps turn off the display of the phone number in the cMap Template Customizer? I suspect this is the cause because I can see the phone number when I click to view the single entry detail/profile view.Show the phone numbers is checked under C_map customization
Did you perhaps set the shortcode option to disable the display phone numbers? I have removed all shortcode options to do with phone numbers and it’s still not displaying and in FieldsetsI’ve also unchecked Dates in both Form and C_map customization but this is still showing when I go to add a listing.
We’re getting closer though to being ready to go live. Thanks for your patience!

I logged in with the subscriber login you gave me and clicking the “View My Directory Entry” link in the widget did take me right to the Ace Night Entry the user is linked to. Seems to be working as expected. Perhaps we are not on the same page???

We’ll the only reason I can think of why this would happen when viewing the list but is visible on the entry profile page is that it was disabled in the Template Customizer for cMap … I’ll need a temp admin account in order to take a closer look.

Ok, the phone numbers were not showing because in the advanced section in the Template Customizer you limited the phone types to work and the phone numbers that were added mobile. They showed on the profile page because they were not limited. I remove the type limitation and now the numbers show.
The remove button width. I made a tweak to the CSS which fixes this. You’ll very likely have to force refresh your browser in order to see the change.
Hope that helps!
