GuestIs there a way to link new users to an existing directory entry created by the site admin? I read this discussion, but I don’t think it applies to my situation.
Thanks!

Yes, with Link is installed and activated when new users login they will be linked to “their” entry in Connections based on an email match.
Hope that answers your question.

GuestThanks for the reply. Unfortunately, it did not work on my site. Users who log in to “link” click on Edit my Directory Entry, but they get an empty form.

Are you running s2Member or CalPress?

Ok, I made a very minor edit that resolves the issue … the same edit that solved it for s2member. I think the User Role Editor plugin or the User Access manager plugin is where the conflict was occurring.

The first users that you supplied sees to be linked fine to me. The second user was actually linked to a non-existent user. I’m guessing in your testing you may have deleted that user. The link should have been removed, which was a bug, and why it would not link to the new user. That has been corrected.

GuestIs it possible to manually handle links? I would like to put the linked directory entry from engroupe to Rouj, and link engroupe to the CBDC Madawaska entry.
Thanks!
