I would like to be able to have a user add entries for their whole family and be able to view and edit them. Is that possible to set it up that way? I’m trying to set up a member directory for my church where a parent or individual can add all family members and be able to go back and update their address over time.
Also, when creating a family, is there a way to automatically take the address from the individual instead of having to manually add it again?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry, only admins can create and edit families. Is is not possible to allow a user to create and edit families because any user could then add any other entry to their family.
Here’s a link to a FAQ which explains how to create a family. So you do not have to re-add addresses and phone or any common data, instead of Adding a New Entry, create the first. After you save that entry mouse hover over it and click the copy action. It’ll copy the entry info into a new entry.
Hope that helps!
This doesn’t sound like it does what i need it to do. I don’t think i’m going to be using connections after testing it with these extensions. how can i get a refund and cancel my licenses?
Well, the first thing you would need to do is deactivate and delete Connections from your site since they are still presently installed.
