ParticipantGreetings…
I am wondering if this software solution can meet our requirements…
We are looking to repurpose this solution as lead generation management solution. We want to grant specific clients access to a wordpress install whereby they can create and edit their “Connections”. Their connections are their leads. They can only see the leads that they manage but they cannot see other contacts leads.
Does this software offer this type of requirement?
Please let me know.

I’m sorry to say, no, not yet. There has been some foundations laid in order to support entry “owners” where “clients”, in you case, could be assigned ownership and be limited to modifying only the entries they own. But, there is still more work to do and I can’t commit to when this feature will be completed.

GuestSo here is a more refined question… With the user status of Author… Can that particular user not be able to create and edit his own connections and no one else’s? Let’s say that each author user can see everyone else’s connections. That seems rather doable.
Can you confirm that this can be done?

Yes, using Link, will allow a user to maintain their own entry without giving them edit access to every entry for editing, view only in the front end of the site. But this limits them to edit their own entry, not a specific list of entries. Does that anser the question?
