I need the admin login and FTP login again, the ones I had are no longer valid.
…
I do have a distinct feeling this too is not actually being caused by Connections, but I’ll take a look.

Thanks! I logged in and switch the page template from FAQs to the default page template and the error went away. Page templates are part of the theme, so that tells me the error is being caused by something on the theme’s FAQs page template.

GuestOk, thank you, but if you disable the connections plugin, the faq’s page works perfectly as it is supposed to. There is a conflict somewhere though between the two, don’t you think?

Nope, I do not think so… I’m pretty certain it is a bug with the theme’s template page.
I looked at it with the WordPress theme editor. They have multiple WP posts loops on the page, nothing wrong with that, but they are null’ing out a core WordPress global variable, bad. I removed the null and now the page works fine.
Actually… that not all, they’re overwriting the global var with the new local instance for the FAQ posts instead of assigning the results to a new local variable and instead of using
wp_reset_query()they’re nulling out the global var again. I’d didn’t change any of this because I do not know what other effects this may have on the theme. So that would be for the theme author to fix and test. Now why did this only occur with Connections active best guess is one of the filters in Connections relies on that global var that was null’ed out was trying to run. Not a bug with Connections, but bugs with the theme’s page template.

The quality of the theme could be just fine I don’t know one way or another. Apologies if I implied anything. I would just say what I found I feel is a bug and should be done differently. I’m quite confident there are plenty of bugs in Connections too even though I do work very hard at making sure there are none.
I think I may have asked… but if you have not and if you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
