    Okay, a strange request I know. Basically, I unfortunately just found out that active links to company websites are only reserved for a few paying customers. I have about 200 family entries with active URLS, and I need to convert them to show the website address in text form without a link.

    The easiest way to do this that I could think of would be to export all data, remove the URL field for all families, and reupload just the link title.

    The problem is that the plugin is too smart for this, and sees the blank URL as a mistake and does not allow one to just list the link title. Do you have any advice re: how to best accomplish this?

    Would setting the link to “Private” or “Unlisted” be an option?

    Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, they want to be able to see the http://www.website.com text, just without the hyperlink itself (so that it would have to be copy and pasted into the address bar).

    I’ve tried switching the field over to Bio as that seems like the next best candidate, but the website turns into a hyperlink automatically, even when I paste into the Text editor.

    Do you have any other thoughts? Thanks very much.

    The only other though I have to to register a new custom Link type, say “Active Website” and then added a custom filter which render the a clickable link or static text based on whether it is a “Website” link or an “Activate Website” Link type. Hope that make sense!
