Hello, first I’d like to say the plugin is really cool and are excited to use it. It would be awesome if it was possible to import subcategories from a csv file. Right now, if we “enter category,sub-category” in the csv file (with the heading of “category”, the sub-category gets generated as a primary category unless we create the sub-category manually. For example, we are making states the primary category and cities a sub-category of that state. I may just not be doing something right in the csv setup and if I am, can you tell me what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks again,
Mike

Sorry, no, the import does not support importing into a hierarchy at this time. My suggestion is to do your import so the cats are created and linked to the entries and after the import edit the categories creating the hierarchy that you require. There’s no need to update any entries as the category relationship are separate from the entry assignments.
I hope that helps.
