I just purchased the cMap template. None of the images are showing up and there was supposed to be a caegory map that also isn’t showing.12/05/2018 at 12:12 pm #478560
It does not appear you have installed the cMap template.
- Please install and active the template.
- Navigate to the Connections : Templates admin page and activate the cMap template.
- Edit the page. If you used the
templateshortcode option, please remove it.
Hope this helps, please let me know.12/05/2018 at 12:32 pm #478561
I have activated the cMap template. I was using a different template before and the images showed up fine. I switched to the cMap because of the category map option but id does not seem to be working for me. Please advise. Here is the link again.12/05/2018 at 1:14 pm #478562
Please edit the page in the admin. What is the exact shortcode you are using on this page?
Please attach screenshots showing the cMap activated on both the Plugins admin page and the Connections : templates admin page.12/05/2018 at 1:33 pm #478563
I used the [connections] shortcode.
It won’t let me add the screenshots12/05/2018 at 1:40 pm #478564

Can you please create a temp admin account so I can take a closer look? Use this plugin to create the temp account. Reply back, as a private reply, with the login link.12/05/2018 at 11:12 pm #478573This reply has been marked as private.12/06/2018 at 9:23 am #478656
I went to log in, but, noticed the issue has been resolved. What was the solution?
ps. Since you are using Enhanced Categories, you should disable the category filter in cMap.12/06/2018 at 12:12 pm #478674
Yes I had to push the changes to the CDN. However, I still need the images to show up in the profiles and the map to show up in the categories.12/06/2018 at 12:29 pm #478675
I got the images to show but I still need the map at the top of thwe categories. The map is enabled but not showing.12/06/2018 at 12:32 pm #478676
RE: I still need the images to show up in the profiles
Navigate to the Connections : Templates admin page and click the Customizer button for the cMap template.
The page will reload displaying the Customizer of the left and a preview on the right.
Take note of the special instructions displayed above the directory in the preview.
Click an entry name in the preview, it does not matter which. The preview will refresh displaying the profile page.
Click the back arrow in the upper left of the Customizer.
Click the Image panel.
Choose the Photo option for the Image type.
Publish the changes and exit the Customizer.
RE: the map to show up in the categories
Not sure what you are asking here … I see the map for each entry in the link. Click the show map link for any one of them. Also, on the profile page the map is displayed. Categories them self have no maps … am I misunderstanding your question?12/06/2018 at 12:36 pm #478677
I thought categories had maps. Is there a way to add a map to the categories?12/07/2018 at 9:18 am #478792
Sorry, no, there is no category cluster map. I’ve been building up a quite robust mapping API so, perhaps, in time one can get added.
