ParticipantHi, how do I get the search box to display on the directory page? I have purchased, installed, and activated the Pro Add-on Pack but am not able to find anywhere how to make this show up. Thanks in advance for your help!

I see you purchased the Extension Pro Pack. Thanks for your support!
The Widget Pack which comes as part of the Extension Pro Pack includes a search widget. You can placed this widget in the theme’s sidebar to add search to your directory.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantAh! It’s a widget. Of course! Now I feel silly. :)
No way to have it only on the directory pages then correct?
Thank you for your help Steven!

re: No way to have it only on the directory pages then correct?
You have two options…
- You can place the search widget on the page by using a widget shortcode. To do this, add the Search widget to the Connections Widgets Shortcodes Sidebar on the Widgets admin page. Change the Search widget settings and click the Save button. After you do a shortcode will be given which can be placed on the page.
- The second option would require you to purchase a template. All of them have a search option that is displayed above the directory. On some templates it is enabled by default on others it is displayed by default.
Hope that answers your question thoroughly!
