GuestI’m trying to change the formatting in Tile Plus and finding that a lot of what I want to change is markup driven by element.style without CSS selectors that I can modify. When I was using the default template, I was able to find this markup in the template.php file, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with this template. I bought Tile Plus for the search and category select features but was happy with the style of the default template — can I edit the injected elements somewhere in this theme, or can I use the default theme’s style/php file to style my list while keeping the search feature of the premium theme?

There are only a couple inline styles that are calculated automatically based on shortcode values or their default values. they are:
The background color and and gradient can be set as explained on this doc page.
The tile size can be changed with shortcode options too, see this FAQ.
And the image size.
Does this help?

GuestWhat I wanted to do is have the name display beneath the photo, and in examining the code I see that the photo is floated left but can’t figure out where the style is being determined since I can’t find it in the stylesheet. I’ve found a workaround by sizing the box such that the name gets pushed below the photo, but I’m still curious as to where certain style elements are coming from.
Specifically, the code preceding the photo:
<div id="entry-id-253bc28c858e02" class="cn-entry" style="background-color: #E3E3E3; height: 175px; width: 115px;"> <div style="float: left; margin-right: 10px;"> <span class="cn-image-style" style="display: inline-block;"><span class="cn-image cn-image-loading" style="height: 130px; width: 100px;">Is there any way to override the generic div without it having an id?

The width, height and background color of the cn-entry class are controlled by the shortcode options I linked to in my previous reply. The for the width and height of the image. The floated div, that is coded into the template,
card.phpfile. To override that, you have two options, create an override file forcard.phpas explained in this QuickTip or to use CSS:#cn-tile-plus .cn-entry div:first-child { float: none !important; margin: 0 !important; }Hope that helps clear it up better.
