GuestOk – first – LOVE this plugin – the longer I use it, the more I learn how versatile it is! So, let me explain what I am trying to do. Basically, I want to have one location’s information in connections one time, but make it display in completely different ways on different pages. The main page implementation is: http://tsbdc2014launch.com/locations/ – and it looks perfect there. The other place I want it to show is: http://tsbdc2014launch.com/locations/cookeville-ttu/ in a widget.
My ultimate preference would be that 1) the image doesn’t show, 2) The View Center information link doesn’t show (because it links to this page), 3) The map link doesn’t show here at all (because I want to put a big map on this page).
I got some of the stuff like the social media not to show here. Is the rest of this possible? Am I just missing some shortcode options to do this?
Thanks!!

GuestOk – so thirty seconds after I posted this – I found a few of my own answers. I managed to get the links not to show, and the map not to show, so now I just need to know – can the image be hidden, and can I kill the “return to top” button?

GuestOne more really odd thing happening, and I figured I would ask it here since you will be on the page anyway – on this page: http://tsbdc2014launch.com/locations/cookeville-ttu/ the profile image is really dark, and I have no idea why. None of the other images are doing this, and I haven’t changed any settings. Ideas?

GuestI had the dark image problem myself. The workaround I found was to use the Snipping Tool on the pc to take a screenshot of the image on the screen and re-upload it, which makes it look correct every time.
Don’t know why this is the case though.

Dark image, likely has to do with the format and any color profiles that were embedded in it are affecting the image created by Connections using the PHP GD image processing library.
To hide the image/logo use the the
imageshortcode option for cMap. Like this example:[connections image='none']Hiding the return to top requires a bit of CSS.
If your theme has a custom CSS area add the following to it. If it does not, add it to the end if its style.css file.
.textwidget .cn-return-to-top { display: none;}That should do it. Hope it helps!
