    Recently this began happening. When I activate the Connections Business Directory plugin, my posts that do not have featured images begin to incorrectly display the first image in the post as the header image.

    Disabling Connections Business Directory corrects the issue. Any thoughts on what I might try to fix this?

    Are you manually adding featured images using the featured image option when adding a post? Or, are you replying on Divi to pull the first image out of the post?

    Does this happen on all posts, or those just within the [connections] shortcode on it.

    I manually add featured images. Otherwise, no header image should show. This is happening on all posts, with or without the connections shortcode.

    Hmmm… ok, the Divi compatibility code I added several version back might have a bug that appears for you.

    Ok, I think this is corrected. I think the code to enable compatibility with the Divi “Grab first post image” option was bugged in a way which would actually enable the option on all posts where the [connections] shortcode was not on. I tweaked the logic so the code would only run if that option was actually already enabled (Divi’s default).
