ParticipantHow does one include the “from” email in the message sent?
The message seems to be sent from the administrator of the siteThanks

I know this is under the Contact forum, but which email are we speaking about exactly? The email sent by Contact, the from email address is the email address enter by the user sending the message using the Contact form. So, if you are testing and you are entering your admin email address, that is the email address which will be used as the from address.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantThe email sent by the Contact form which great since the email address is concealed in the directory.
However in the message sent, the email appears to be from the Adminstrator of the site (I have tested on another browser, logged out) and the email of the sender is not displayed in the message .06/08/2018 at 10:44 am #464998Steven Zahm

Is it possible for you to setup a test entry for me to view with the email address set to the address in which you receive notifications of my replies from?

ParticipantSorry my bad, I realised it was the email override settings in the Mail Bank plugin which set all originating email as coming from the site administrator.

Oh yes, that would do it. Plugins such as those override the core WP mail function and implement their own. At least they have the option to disable. This is resolved now, correct?
