GuestHi,
We are getting an error when trying to add entries in Connections. You mentioned that I need to “manually trigger the db upgrade on the live site.” Can you give me instructions on how to do that?
Thanks!

If you can give me an admin login I will be able to determine what the current db version is and which upgrade routine I need to trigger manually in order to get the correct version. The login details can be posted here as a private reply.

I get an incorrect password error. Can you please confirm the password?

Ok, I forced the db update to the correct version and was able to save a test entry (deleted).
To answer your previous question about cloning… if you mean clone the db and files, no other steps should be required. If you mean clone as in just copy files, the only time you need to worry about additional steps in when there has been a DB update required in Connections … which is rare. But if you always clone db and files, it should be fine.
Hope this helps!

I do not know what ManageWP is cloning for you but it definitely was not your live site. Both the files I tweak last night to the live site to force the DB update and the DB itself was out of date. I suspect it cloned an older version to your dev site.
I triggered the DB update on dev too and now it can add entries again.
Hope this helps!
