GuestI recently updated wordpress and a bunch of plugins including connections, now I can’t see any connections entries, the shortcode does’nt seem to work, I also purchased the connections widget to display birthdays, but it is also not working, the permalink is all wrong.
My question: if I delete the plugin completely, will it erase all my entries as well?01/16/2014 at 4:09 pm #277286Steven Zahm

No deleting Connections will not delete your data. But I do not think that will have any effect. Which version were you upgrading from? If it was a much older version, I’m thinking the update script didn’t execute for some reason? If that is the case, I’ll need a temp admin account so I can “force” the update to run.
Which version of the Widget Pack do you have? There were a very small number instances where the permalink would be incorrect because of the way the theme managed its sidebars. Back in Sept I did release an update that would force the permalinks to the directory home page. You can download this update from your purchase history.

GuestI upgraded from 3.6.1, unfortunately I can’t give you temp admin rights, as it is an intranet only accessible from within out network, I will check the widget pack update, but do you know how I can force the upgrade on connections plugin?
Thanks.

ParticipantSteven, I upgraded the widget pack, and now everything is working fine, thanks for the quick response.
Have a great day!

KeymasterWell, that’s odd … but great.
