    Migrating an old custom member directory to Connections Pro. Wondering the best planning for all the old database fields/parameters into Connections Pro. We have 4 main search parameters (Demographics, Issues Treated, Modality and Specialties work) with many check boxes in each, some have 20 options).

    On old directory if you select the Primary or Secondary dropdown you’ll see a couple of the options

    So should we:

    A)Make these 4 parameters a Parent Category then all the options child categories? This seems a bit unruly with so many categories and how could we allow drill down searching like old site?

    B) Make 1 parameter a category then add the other 3 parameters as a custom field, selection boxes, so members could select these then we allow these fields to be searchable separately?

    C) Other?

    Thoughts? Thanks.

    Actually I think categories would be the best way to manage it. Use four parents with the options as children. Your site remind me of this one:
