When I try to edit the categories, I get “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” I”m the administrator so it shouldn’t be an access or role issue. When I add a category, I can then edit the categories again. I’ve tried turning on and off all the plugins. Is there something in the backend that I can do so that I can edit categories when needed without having to add a category first?
Thanks and by the way, I LOVE this directory. It’s great.
Try this… navigate to the Connections : Roles admin page and add a check to reset all role capabilities and save. After the page refreshes, configure your role capability preferences as desired.
Does that correct it?
If not, try the steps outlined in this FAQ.
Hope that helps, let me know.
This works for me.. Not sure about the OP. I had the same problem and this resolved it. Thanks!
