I was wondering if it’s possible to export all data daily? I figure as a last resort, I can probably run a CRON job on specific tables each day, but wanted to check in with you if there was anything developed already for a daily export of all connections data? If not, do you know what tables would I need to dump in the job? Basically, a client wants to dump their database daily to another DB on another server. Thanks!
There is no a built in method to auto export daily. YOu could look at the
csvBatchExport() methods in the
class.actions.php file found in this folder:
You would need to create a WP CRON (perhaps triggered by a real CRON). You would also have to create some sort of feedback loop because the export happens in batches. In the web browser this is done with JS. There is a library, called Action Scheduler (I think) that would be useful in creating such a process. I would expect it would take a couple/few days to code something out.
Not sure this helps, but I hope it does!
