ParticipantHave installed and set up the CSV Import Plugin and it works great but I wonder if it possible to do the following with a little editing of WP files?
- Import new users to WP with Email and Pwd from a CSV (works)
- Send the WP default email automatically to each new user?
- User clicks on the email link and goes to the Directory Login page, logins and creates their new Dir entry.
Under normal manual creation WP sends an email to the new user with the following
http://mysite.com/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=ZTI9XDyE9Cf1dYNvLOw5&login=Username>
https://mysite.com/wp-login.php
It’s a long shot but has anyone been able to customise the WP links to direct to a Connections login page?
If this were possible it would really automate the creation of new accts for users without having to send them manualy their new USER name PWD and URL to the login page.

To import WP users and send them the login email, you can try using the Import users from CSV with meta plugin.
If you use the same CSV file you used in Connections when the user logs in their WP User account will be associated to their Connections Entry if you have the Link extension installed and configured.
As for customizing the login page, perhaps a plugin like Admin Custom Login will do the trick???
Hope this helps, let me know.

ParticipantMaking progress
I had played around with the Import Users from CSV a couple of days ago but failed to notice that there is a EMail tab and I can add a link in there to the login page.
Now the auto email sent to the user has the URL as I want it which is great!I used a simple Plugin to display Login and Logout on the Login page and Direct pages
https://wordpress.org/plugins/login-logout-shortcode/
It’s not pretty but it works for now.
Also added a link to a PDF file Guide for Creating a Directory Entry” in the Login panel to help new users.

Another option for you to play with is this plugin:
https://connections-pro.com/add-on/login/
Which also has a shortcode. and a few other features which integrate with Connections.

Ok, I added a couple CSS tweaks which correct this.

ParticipantThanks for the tweaks, much appreciated.
Please let me know where you added them? Do you mean on the site or in a new version of the form?
