ParticipantHey Steve,
I have recently started to mess around with Form, like it a lot (everyone should go buy it). :) Saw a recent post here about it not working with custom fields (since Connections doesn’t yet support CF). Can I assume that the upcoming custom fields process will flow through to allow it to work in Form also?
Thanks!

In short, yes. Unfortunately, due to my shortsightedness, I’m going to have to rebuild from the ground up the part of that plugin that displays the form fields on the front of the site. The good news, I am making sure the custom meta box and field API takes that need into account.

GuestWhen will the custom field incorporation be complete? Thanks!

Just the API for dev or the whole complete integration?
The API is mostly finished. I working on converting the core metaboxes over to the API now. I expect that to be complete and released by end of month or there abouts.
A user interface for point and click custom fields. That’s going to take bit longer. Right now, I only have a plan on what it’ll look like and how it’ll function.
Does that answer your question?

GuestYeah, that answered it. Will you be updating this forum thread when the custom field option is available? We really need this functionality and would hate to miss out on it when it becomes available.
