ParticipantGreetings: When mapping to Connections, we are choosing Entry Type and mapping it to Entry Type (we want the entries to show as organization, not individual); however, it STILL is showing as individual even though the field says organization. It is mapping all of the other items successfully. Can you shed some light? Thanks.

KeymasterCan you private reply with a sample of the CSV you’re importing so I can take a look?

KeymasterMake “Organization” in the “Entry Type” column all lowercase, same for the “Visibility” column.

GuestHi Steven,
I am having the same issue as indicated by this post.
I have created an excel spreadsheet with the heading “Entry Type” (without the quotes). And in lowercase, I gave it a value of “organization” (in lower case and without the quotes).
However each time the cvs file import the data, it always default to the individual. I want it to import the data as ORGANIZATION. Is there a way to fix this?
Thank you kindly.
Regards,
Chi.

GuestNevermind, I got it to work.
First Name and Contact First Name are two different fields. I just noticed it.

Which version of the CSV Import are you using. I’d like to double check and make sure there is not a bug in the latest version.
