GuestHello,
I am currently working on a project that needs a directory. Connections seems to have the features we need, but before purchasing a template I am a little worried that I will encounter conflicts between the connections template and my project theme.
I need to be able to provide the front end user of my site with a list of entries that can be filtered on the following criteria :
- Geographical zone (a category that we have created)
- Type (a category that we have created)
- Post Code
I would very much like to know if the theme of the cmap template will affect only the connections page or will it affect my whole site?
Also I would like to make sure that I will be able to change the order of appearance of the fields in the cards.
Thankyou

The cMap template or any of Connections templates will only ever affect the display of the directory, not the theme. Now, that said, theme’s, at times can cause minor CSS conflicts with the templates for Connections. These are just about always very easily resolvable.
For the search criteria, cMap, like the other templates only support filtering by a single category and a keyword. If you need to filter by multiple categories and a radius of a post code, you’ll need the advanced search as seen on this live third party site in the “Find A Therapist” section:
I sell this addon with installation and configuration for an additional fee. However, if you purchase either the Extension Pro Pack or the Pro Pack I will send it to you if you request it at no charge with instructions on how to configure it. Keep in mind, configuration is all based on shortcode and options which can be difficult if you are not familiar with working with WordPress shortcodes and Connections. If you need installation and configuration assistance and would like me to do it, I do provide that as a service for an additional fee.
I hope I have fully answered your questions.
