GuestI just upgraded my WordPress Connections plug in to ver 0.7.9 and now I can’t locate the Connections tap in my WordPress Dashboard. Earlier today, before I upgraded to the latest version, it was visible from my dashboard. Please advise…

This only ever happens as a result of another plugin specifically setting its menu position ID; Connections will often get bumped from the menu because of this. WordPress doesn’t really handle that well, unfortunately. Did you happen to install and/or update any other plugins at around the time you noticed this?

GuestNo, I didn’t update another plug-in when I updated Connections. If I deactivate, delete and re-install Connections will I loose my current directory? Will that work?

GuestI found the problem. It was the “eshop Order Emailer” plugin. I deactivated it and the Connections menu appeared in on my dashboard. I activated it again and Connections menu went away. I know you’re probably way too busy so I thought to let you know my progress to not waste your time.
Thanks for the good advice and I hope to be chatting with you again, soon.

That great! … You can ignore my email then. I was just working on it.
