The label above the business address says Other and I need it to say Address. I uploaded SayWhat? and followed your Text Changes instructions but the Other label isn’t changing. Help?03/16/2018 at 1:26 am #455588
I’m finding that if I go into a listing and change the Address Type to the BOTTOM “Address” option, that changes the label from “Other” to “Address.” Please tell me that there’s an easier way than manually making this change to over 1,000 listings!!03/16/2018 at 10:37 am #455607

Yes, there is a much easier way… first I need to know more about your setup. Lets reset.

- Deactivate the Say What plugin. It is no longer required for changing address labels since I built this into the Connections Settings a few months ago. If you are using it to change other strings, then leave it active and delete all relating to the address field types.
- Attach a screenshot showing the Address Types section under the Fieldset Configuration tab on the Connections : Settings admin page.
- What is the exact shortcode you are using on the directory page?
The shortcode I’m using on the directory page is: [connections]
Is that what you mean? I’m kind of shortcode illiterate. :)03/18/2018 at 1:24 pm #455800
I the screenshot where it says “Other” in the Address Type options. Change it to “Address” and save the settings. That should all it takes to change it from “Other” to “Address”.
Hope that helps!03/20/2018 at 10:29 am #456059
I’m afraid that didn’t work. :( The “Other” label persists even after changing the “Other” Address Type option to “Address.”03/20/2018 at 10:39 am #456060
Did you by chance use the Code Snippets plugin to make changes to the address types?03/21/2018 at 10:19 am #456213
No I didn’t.03/21/2018 at 10:26 am #456214
