The following strings, you need to translate the
connections_link.potfile using POedit.- view my directory entry
- edit my directory entry
The file can be found in this folder:
../wp-content/plugins/connections-link/languages/The following strings, you need to translate the
connections_form.potfile using POedit.- submit new entry
The file can be found in this folder:
../wp-content/plugins/connections-form/languages/This already appears to be translated to “Verstuur” for the Dutch (Netherlands) translation.
There is no “return to directory” string, but if you mean “Go back to directory.”, that can be translated on Transifex which already appears to be done for the Dutch (Netherlands) translation.

ParticipantSteven,
I managed to translate the three phrases – view-edit-submit – with poedit. I have given a new translation for ‘Go back to directory’ ion Transifex. Why can’t i do this with poedit?
Now i have to wait for an approval, how long will it take and what when it is not approved?08/08/2016 at 1:53 pm #385798Steven Zahm

re: Why can’t i do this with poedit?
Because the translation for the core Connections plugin is managed on Transifex to allow many people to help translate in many languages so they can be easily distributed to everyone. That can not be done with POedit.
re: Now i have to wait for an approval
No, you do not need to wait for approval or an update to Connections to include the new translated strings. See this FAQ.

ParticipantThank you for your very quick answer. I’m very happy with it. The structure of my files is like this:
- wp-content/languages/lanquages
but also
- wp-content/plugins/connections/languages

I just downloaded the PO from Transifex, saved the MO file and place it in this folder:
../wp-content/plugins/connections/languages/overwriting the original. When I changed the language in WordPress to “Netherlands” the “Go back to directory.” string became “Ga terug naar directory”.What should it say? If that is what it is supposed to say and what you see is English, then I suggest double checking the file naming and the file was in the correct location. Also, make sure, that the new file is actually overwriting the old.

ParticipantMy translation for ‘go back to directory’ is ‘Terug naar het overzicht’.
I have done all again: translation Transifex, save, download, poedit, save, upload to the directory you mentioned, and ….there it is: the right translation on my website.
Now i have to translate the other phrases again. I’ll hope for fast result.
Thanks for answering so quickly again Steven,
