ParticipantI removed the titles with CSS. I guess I would like a cross between gridder and cmap.

re: Is there a way to take the titles out like “Home” “Work Phone” etc.
Here’s the easy way…
- Navigate to the Connections :: Templates admin page.
- Click the Customize button for cMap. The page will reload with the Customizer on the left and a preview on the right.
- Click the back arrow in the upper left of the Customizer.
- Click the Advanced panel.
- There are several option for label formatting. To remove the label, copy the default token string and paste it into the field and the remove the
%label%token. This will make more sense when you see it.
re: Is there a way to add hyperlinks directly underneath the image that wraps around. I would like to add research areas that can then be linked to a description of the research.
Sure, but it would have to be custom coded into the template files. The
card.phpandcard-single.phpfiles found here:../wp-content/plugins/connections-cmap/.If you alter the template files, you should read this tutorial on template override files.
re: Can I change the Show Notes to Show Research and have the name change reflected in the tray?
Sure, see the documentation on how to change strings in cMap.
re: Can I add a third tray for “Show Teaching?”
This too can only be done by editing the templates files.
re: Is there a way to have two cards side by side like in gridder?
Some do use CSS to make them side by side but most after doing revert the change because the effect does not work well with the expanding content trays.
re: If yes, is there a way for the tray to extend underneath both cards like gridder?
It might be easier to start with Gridder rather than trying to alter cMap. Either way, it would not really be easily achievable.
Not sure it my answers are helpful, but I hope they are.
