There is a way to set an Anniversary for a “Family” Is there any way to query a “Family” for an anniversary? Just seems weird to see Anniversary listing both of the people as “Individuals”. I see the shortcode uses “list_type” differently for “upcoming_list” and “connections”.
Sorry, I’m having a hard time understanding the question. You can set an anniversary for a family entry type. There is not a limitation there [I think] but I don’t think families are listed in the upcoming list. I actually can’t remember off the top off my head. I’d have to dig into the code. Is that perhaps the issue?
Yes, [upcoming_list] does not appear to query for families.
Just seemed like it would be nice to show “The Doe Family” has an anniversary. Instead of “Joe” and “Jane” as two separate entries.
Ok, I’ll have to look into it and the implications for others if such a change in the logic were made.
