    I am using a custom version of Slim Plus. The Alpha Index is included on the directory page like this:
    [connections template="slim-plus-custom" show_alphaindex="true" repeat_alphaindex="true"]
    This presents the alphabetical index at the top of the page and periodically throughout the list as it should.
    However, when you click on a letter, nothing happens.
    This is a recent phenomenon. It has recently stopped working.

    The alpha index has receive a significant update. Instead of jumping to a letter group within a list, it will filter the list by the character clicked. If you’re receiving 404/s I suspect it is because default option did not set for some reason during the update. To fix it go to the Connections : Settings admin page and enter char in the Character URL Base option under the Advanced tab and save.

    That should do it. Apologies for the trouble.

    Thank you for the reply.
    The Base option already had “char” added.
    I am still having the problem.
    Could it be because you wrote a slightly different version of Slim Plus for me? This was in Sept of 2011 so it’s pretty old at this point.

    Oh, I see. A while back I changed the anchor IDs for the in-page linking. I had to prefix them from cn- so they would stop conflicting with theme styles. If you can grant me a temp FTP account I’ll log in and make a small edit to the template so they’ll work again.
