This is a complex setup that will require you to create a page in WordPress for each continent/combination that you want utilizing the country filter. The other alternative would be a custom template which would add a second drop down where a user could select the continent/country and a category to filter the results by.

Add str_select_all='' to your shortcode. That will remove the “Show All Categories” option.

Removing the “Test Centers” at the top will require a bit more work. Instead of setting the category shortcode option to the category ID of “Test Centers” you will have to use the ID for each country instead. Hope that makes sense.

This is possible with any of the templates sold here that have a category dropdown such as Circled, cMap, Excerpt Plus, Gridder, Slim Plus and Tile Plus.

You could do this. Enable the Postal Code and Locality permalink options on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab. Now those sections in all addresses will becomes links and when clicked the list will filter by the region clicked. At this time there is no auto created list of links, but you could copy/paste these links into a custom link nav menu item and place them in you sites nav.

This will be very difficult to answer because I have no way of knowing the changes you have made. So… here’s the answer assuming no changes…

Go to the Connections : Settings admin page, click the Images tab. And change the Crop Mode for the Large image to Resize proportionally adjusting the size of scaled image so there are no margins added.

Or… are you asking about that thin gray rule around the image? It ou are, then you need to use CSS to remove it. Add the following to the theme’s custom CSS area:

#cn-gridder span.cn-image-style {
    border: 0 !important;
}

These can be disable on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Display tab. Scroll down to the Entry Actions section.

My suggestion would be to only activate the support license keys on you “live” sites. But if you wish, you can activate them on your dev sites. You would first have to deactivate the support licenses on the dev site before moving your dev to a “live” site. After the move is complete, you can then reactivate your support licenses.

First… I going to assume this question relates to the Form extension, yes?

The first and last name field can not be removed because if an entry type is an Individual those are required fields. That said, here’s what you could do…

Go to the Connections : Settings admin page, click the Form tab. Set the default entry type to Organization and disable the option to allow a user to change the entry type. You can use the instructions in this QuickTip to change the Organization field label to Name. Now, if you decide to do this all your entry will be organizations and there will never be a way to filter or search by just the first or last name.

This is the Names template you can activate it on the Connections : Templates admin page. If you choose to do this then you need to make another settings changes otherwise you will only see a name when you click on the link. Go to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Display tab. Enable the Single Entry Template option. Now go to the Connections : Templates admin page, click the Individual entry template type and activate the Default Card template. Do the same for the Organization and Family template types.

Link allows an entry to be linked to a user account in WordPress. That user would only be able to edit “their” entry. Form allows the user to make changes to “their” entry in the frontend rather than from their entry admin profile page.

Now, you could use Link and Form together to somewhat limit what can be edited. First you would need a plugin that blocks access to the admin because the Link profile admin page will not limit anything the user can edit. With the admin block the only place the user could edit their entry is from the frontend is with Form. On the Form settings you can choose which fieldsets to display which does can limit what can be edited. Take a look at the screenshot on the Form product page to see which fieldset can be disabled.

Now… since you are using Families, I have to mention that neither Form nor Link permit the user to create a family entry, only an Individual or an Organization. And Link will link to only one entry in Connections. I single user will not be able to edit a “family” of entries.

Did you set the email visibility to those not showing as “Public” which is the default or did you change them to be Private or Unlisted. Setting ot to Unlisted would cause them not to be displayed.

If that is not the reason… are you using the email_types shortcode option to limit which email address types that are to be displayed?

If neither of these are the issue, please share a link to your directory page so I can take a look.
