I logged in… There seems to be an issue with the entry for “A Rated Investigations, Inc.“. I set the entry to unlisted so it does not display and now the directory displays just fine using the cMap template.

My best guess is that the logo they uploaded is either corrupt and/or too large. Either way that is causing PHP to either error out or run out of memory.

To fix. Log in to your site using FTP and navigate to this folder:
../wp-content/uploads/connections-images/

Find the folder, /michael-martinez/ and copy it to your desktop and then delete it on FTP.

Now, go to the Connections : Manage admin page and edit their entry. It should load like normal except that you will get an error about the image not being found.

Open the image you downloaded to your desktop and open it in you favorite image editor and scale it down so it is smaller and save it. Upload this smaller image to the entry, set the entry to be public and save.

Does that fix the issue?

I’ve tried to login, but I get an error incorrect user/pass error with an error that says too many login attempts. Can test/rest the login info so I can login in?

I was able to login, but the user account does not have access to the Plugins admin page or the Plugin Editor admin page. To apply the hot patch, I need the WP Editor plugin and access it its admin page so I can apply this hotfix.

Sorry, but there is currently not a way to “sticky” an entry. You could use custom ordering to achieve such an effect.

To highlight an entry, you could create a “Featured” category and assign that category to those that you wish to highlight and then use CSS to style those entries so they are stand out.

This statement is still somewhat true. The Gridder template will display the preferred phone/email if one is set and if one is not, then it simply show only the first one. Similarly, the Circled template does this for the email address. On both, when viewing the detail/profile view all will be displayed.

That said, nothing like this has been implemented in cMap but…

I just added classes to the output of every field which supports a preferred status setting. So, you will be able to use CSS to target the preferred address/phone to make them stand out or add a asterisk before or after (also with CSS). This tweak will be included in the next update.

re: The second issue is with search itself. If you select one of the alphaindex letters, then attempt a search using the search field you will not get a result.
Try searching for ‘staats’ from the default search screen http://www.njlpia.org/locate-an-investigator, you should get Peter Staats, now try selecting an alpha index letter, like “D”, you will then be here: http://www.njlpia.org/locate-an-investigator/char/D/
The search input field does not work at this type o URL.

Actually, this seems like it is working just fine as you do not have any entries in Connections where the last name begins with “D” and has the word staat in any any of the search fields. If you do the same thing but search for “glenn”; you’ll get a result.

The search message even lets you know that is what is happening with a link to clear the search results.

• You are searching for the keyword(s): staats
• The results are being filtered by the character: D

Well… dates are hard. My best guess at the moment is this some weird leap year bug. I was able to replicate this and I think I have a solution. I’ve made the change and it’ll be included in the next bug fix release.
