I took a look at you page, all the images are infact being cropped at 150x200px. I think there is confusion on the name overlay works. The name and title overlays the image. Take a look at the demo page for Gridder. Look at demo 1 and 2 and compare them. They both are the images set at the same size. The difference in the “apparent cropping” is the name overlaying the image.

That said, what you need to do is adjust the widget and height of the image to be a little bigger so it looks better.

Form is pretty out of date. The current version is 2.4.1. My first suggestion is to update it to see if that resolves the issue.

fyi, I did a test submission and I too received the success message. Please check to see if it is in the moderation queue. If it is, then things are working well and perhaps your test did not work because you were logged in when doing the submission. Entries added while logged in as the admin will not hit the mod queue as they are submitted using the same user permissions as you have in the admin.

Now, if my test submission is not in the mod queue, like I suggested, try updating first. If that does not work, then I’ll need an admin account to debug further.

Sorry, but this is not a bug in Connections or cMap. The theme is applying a fade-in effect to all images on your site, including the images for the Google map. They will not fade-in until you scroll the window up so the map is in the upper part of the page. You’ll have to ask the theme dev if there is a way to either turn it off or fix it so it does not apply the effect to Google Maps.

Sorry, but this is not possible at this time.

Connections simply uses Google Maps to geocode and display the map. It works great in the US but in many other countries the quality of the geocode can be not accurate. There’s nothing I can do about that since it is Google doing the geocoding.

That said… what you can do… after you add the address, click the Geocode button. YOu can then drag and drop the pin on the map to fix the geocode.

This is the current default behavior in Connections itself to account for when users do not explicitly set a title for the link when adding it.

I would be possible to change the default for new window but I am not sure the best way to work this at the moment. Setting it to the link to the image by default, this is not going to be possible (quite yet).

Go to the Connections : Settings admin page, click the General tab and scroll down to the Single Entry Template option and disable it. I suspect you enabled this option by mistake and if you did, disabling it should resolve the issue.

Alrighty…

Go to line 112 in the ../wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/class.metabox-entry.php file and change it from:

'toolbar2' => '',

to:

'toolbar2' => 'formatselect',

save and upload overwriting the original.
