KeymasterMy first suggestion is to make sure the CSV file meets the requirements:
Then review the Tips:
These resolve nearly all issues encountered when importing.
Lastly, during the mapping step, triple check the mapping to make certain they are mapped correctly.
If you done this, please log in, and attach a copy of the CSV file you are importing and I’ll take a look to see if I see any issues.
Hope this helps!

KeymasterCan you try deactivating and activating Connections again too. You should try that first.
In regards to my previous suggestion, yes, temporarily deactivating other plugins is always a good first step in troubleshooting issues like these because it eliminates numerous possible other conflicts.

If you remove the Google Maps keys from the settings, Connections will default using a OpenStreetMap (OSM) provider. The OSM geolocation (the process of converting an address to coordinates) is less than stellar. This is can be worked around though. Here’s how:
When adding/editing an entry. You will find a Geocode button for each address added to the entry. Click it. You can then drag and drop the marker to the correct location if it is not correct. Alternatively, you can search the address in Google Maps and copy/paste the latitude/longitude coordinates into the address fields.
This way you do not need to muck around with Google’s API keys.
To answer your question, here;’s how to turn off the display.
- Navigate to the Connections : Templates admin page, click the Customize button for cMap.
- The page will reload with the Customizer on the left and a preview on the right.
- Click the Back arrow in the upper left of the Customizer and then click the Map panel.
- Uncheck the Enabled option.
- Important, do not skip … in the preview, click an entry name, any name, it does not matter which. The preview will refresh displaying the detail view of the template.
- Uncheck the Enabled option again.
- Why twice? Because the list view and detail view can be configured separately for flexibility.
- Click the Publish button and exit the Customizer.
NOTE: You must have the Directory home page set and publish with either the Directory block or shortcode as the page content.
Hope this helps!

KeymasterWhen you add an email address, set the Visibility option to Private. On users who are logged as Subscriber will be able to see the email address.
If you do not see the Visibility option, you might have disabled it in the settings. It can be enabled again on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Fieldset Config tab in the Email section.
By default the Subscriber role can view Private. If you have changed this, it can be changed back on the Connections : Roles admin page. Give the Subscriber role the View Private capability.
OR
You can use the Contact addon. This hides the email from display, then all site visitor can just use the contact form to email the entry. This way the email is never public.
Hope this helps!

By default, Connections will search the zip code in the keyword search field that cMap adds.
Here’s sample search from your site:
