Overview
This page has been closely modeled after the WordPress Add Post and Add Page admin pages to provide a consistent experience and make it instantly recognizable, allowing you to easily and quickly start adding your entries to the directory with confidence.
Screen Options
In the upper right of the page, you will find the Screen Options panel that is found on many of the WordPress admin pages. The Screen Options allow you to choose which metaboxes are displayed or hidden to minimize the fields to only those you use frequently.
Tip
Field Management
Connections includes a wide variety of fields that can be utilized to add information about entries in your directory. To present these fields in an organized structure, grouping relevant field information together, they are separated into metaboxes. This allows you to rearrange, collapse or hide (using the Screen Options panel) to suit your workflow best.
To collapse a metabox, click the up arrow to the far right of the metabox field name.
To rearrange the metaboxes, click and hold on to the metabox field name and drag and drop into the desired order.
Repeatable Fields
Many fields are repeatable, such as addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, et cetera. For repeatable fields, you can add as many as are needed. For example, adding an entry with a home and work address with three phone numbers; cell, home, and work. When adding the addresses, you can click the Add Address button twice to add both addresses. Similarly, when adding the phone numbers, you click the Add Phone Number button three times, once for each phone number.
Collapsable and Rearrangeable
Each repeated field can be easily rearranged by dragging and dropping them in the desired order. Larger fields can be collapsed to make rearranging them easier.
