This block is still under active development but is safe to use. Further updates will add additional options.
The Directory block is the primary block which you will use to embed the directory in a page.
Display Character Index?
Display the A-Z index above the directory.
Repeat Character Index?
Repeat the Character Index at the beginning of each character group.
Display Current Character Heading?
Display the current character heading at the beginning of each character group.
Choose the template used to display the directory.
This section controls which entries from your directory will be displayed.
Choose which entry type to display. The default it is to display all entry types.
This section controls the order in which the selected entries will be displayed.
The field in which to sort the directory by. The default is the entry last name for an Individual and the organization name for Organizations.

Choose whether to display the chosen sort field in ascending or descending order.
This section controls advanced options which effect the directory features and functions.
Permit the Directory block instance to parse queries in order to affect the displayed results. Example, allowing keyword searches. The default is to allow query parsing.
It is recommend that this option be left on.
Allows you to choose the Directory Home Page. The directory permalinks will resolve to the chosen page.
Force Home Page
Force directory permalinks to resolve to the Global Directory Homes page.
