    @ Alane

My guess is that it is not broken and doing what it is supposed to do…

Looking at the site, it appears you may be using the category shortcode option (and perhaps others). What is the exact shortcode used to embed the directory?

It appears you used the category shortcode to display the Affiliates category, so when you click view all, you are viewing all entries within that category, not all entries in the directory.

To view all, you must remove any of the shortcode options which limit the display of entries such as the category shortcode option.

Why is this? Because “View All” is defined by the limitations set by the shortcode options used (set by the admin).

In regards to the list, I suggest using the CSV Export All tool. Import the CSV file into Excel, or similar app, and filter the list based on the Visibility column … this assumes you are the entry Visibility status to determine if an entry is active or not.

Hope this helps! let me know.

Can you please either provide the email address used to make the purchase or login to the support forum and reply back so I can verify the purchase?

The email address you’ve been using in the support forum does not match any purchases.
To log into the support forum, use the same login details you supplied when make the purchases.

    Thanks!

Which version of Connections do you have installed? Is it the latest or some older version?

Also, make sure the timezone is set correctly on the WordPress General Settings admin page. I recommend choosing one of city named timezones vs one of the UTC offset time zones. Doing this ensures that time shifts such as Daylight Savings are properly taken into account by WordPress.

Hope this helps, let me know.

Above the list table on the Connections : Manage admin page you will; find three dropdowns. make sure all three dropdowns are set to all and then click the filter button.

Then, click the Moderate link found above those dropdowns.

Hope this helps! Let me know.

    @ Ryan

Sorry, no, importing family relationships is not possible. What you can do is import all the individuals to all families. Then you can create the families using those individual.

    Hope this helps!

    @ Meagan

RE: I’m importing the directory listings for each category as a CSV file.

You should use the CSV Import addon to import entries, not the bulk Category Import tool.

The bulk Category import tool only imports categories, nothing else … it can not associated imported categories to entries, for example.

RE: I originally used the CSV import option but each of the categories have hundreds of listings. If I use CSV import I am having to open each entry and manually update the category ID which will take lots of time with hundreds of entries.

If I understand correctly… when the entries were imported, they were not imported with their assigned categories. Is that correct? And now you wish add those category associations to the imported entries?

Probably the easiest solution is to export the entries using the Export All tool found on the Connections : Tools admin page under the Export tab at the bottom.

You would then edit the exported file to include the the categories that each entry should be assigned to. Then import that modified CSV file.

If I recall correctly, the import should update the existing entries with the associations to the categories.

I recommend doing a test import of only a row or two to verify if you get the desired result or not.

    Hope this helps!

    @ Yannis

The “Messenger IM” option exists for the legacy support of those who have added “MS Live Messenger” contact info to their entries. This is not Facebook Messenger.

    Sorry for the confusion!

The next update renames “Messenger” to “Live Messenger” to remove this confusion. It also removes the link since they are no longer valid due to MS shutting down the Live Messenger service.

I’ll investigate the possibility of adding FAcebook Messenger support for a future update. For now, you should add the the Facebook user ID to the Facebook option under the Social Media Networks options.

    Hope this helps!

You would upgrade you cMap license to the Pro Pack and then me know. Then I’ll send the download link and the instructions.

    Upgrade instructions:

    • Navigate to your purchase history page.
    • Click the Licenses tab.
    • Click the View Updates link for the cMap template.
    • Here you will see an upgrade option for the Pro Pack, click the Upgrade License link.
    • This will add the Pro Pack to the cart with the fee being minus the full price of the cMap template.
    • Completing the purchase will upgrade the cMap template purchase to a purchase of the Pro Pack.
