Before I look further, could you please update Connections to 0.8.12 and cMap to 4.0? I would have but FTP login/password is required.

Sorry, no, there is not a shortcode filter but it is possible to filter by character like so:

    http://www.domain.tld/directory-home-page/char/B

    Hope that helps!

You can use the technique described in this QuickTip.

I do not have a filter in place to load a specific card.php file based on page though. You could add one by hooking into the cn_template_file_names-cmap filter. The filter is applied here. Here’s an example on how to hook into the filter.

    Hope that helps!

Looks like you have the original version of the cMap template installed, which is three to four years old. A lot of support for legacy templates was removed in the 0.8.x version of Connections while still retaining as much backward compatibility as possible. I didn’t test compatibility all the way to back to the original versions of cMap because most site have updated or moved on or do not exist anymore.

The two options are to update the cMap template or to rollback Connections to 0.7.9.7.

I did a search of the purchase history using your email address and I could not find a record, so perhaps you purchased cMap using a different email address? If you know the email address that cMap was purchased under, you can access the update from your purchase history page.

    I hope that helps!

On the English page, use this shortcode:

    [connections show_dates='TRUE' order_by="date_added|SORT_DESC,last_name|SORT_ASC" page_limit=13 excerpt_length=30 enable_category_select='FALSE' show_title='TRUE' str_read_more="More details and offer flowers" home_id="XX"]

The only change I made was I added the home_id shortcode option.

Change the XX to the page ID of the English page. You can find the page ID in the browser address bar when editing the page in the WordPress admin. I think the ID is 526. That should force Connections to create links that resolve to the English page.

I think that should fix it.

Sound like the version of MySQL installed on the server is an older version. Switch the default storage engine to MyISAM before you import. Older versions of MySQL the storage engine needs to be MYISAM instead of InnoDB so FULLTEXT indexes can be supported.

    Hope that helps!

Sorry, no, not possible because Connections doesn’t store revisions.

    @ valli

Can you switch to the non-custom Slim Plus to see if the error persists? If it does not, then there was a change that is not likely compatible with the newer versions of Connections.

If you do not have a copy of the non-custom Slim Plus, I see you have Tile Plus and Market too, can you try switching to them.

Lastly, I see files for Tile Plus and Market are being loaded from the following folder:
    ../wp-content/connections_templates/

I suggest deleting the market and slim-plus folders from within that folder. Only custom CSS files and custom template override files should be in that folder. My guess is that the legacy template installer was used trying when trying to install them originally.

Hope that helps, let me know what you find out.

    @ Amélie

Go to the Connections : Settings admin page, click the Advanced tab and then click the Save Changes button.

That should resolve the issue. If not, please let me know.
