Have you enabled the require login to view directory option in the settings?

Apologies for the delay! I was out of the office unexpectedly.
Perhaps your directory was public when Google indexed your site. If that was the case, with the option enabled, and the next time Google indexes your site, those links will be removed. Try this, logout of your site, do a Google search, then click on one of those links, you should not see the entry.

ok so i tried to log out and googled Lindsay Allen – Church of christ
Unfortunately it still appeared :( how long does google keep the indexed pages if the directory was public?
i have also set my search engine visibility setting to – Discourage search engines from indexing this site
kindly see attached screenshots
tnx

RE: Unfortunately it still appeared :( how long does google keep the indexed pages if the directory was public?
That is up to Google and their crawl rate of your site.
RE: i have also set my search engine visibility setting to – Discourage search engines from indexing this site
You should really enable that option. That will basically get your entire site removed from the Google search index. If that happens, the site might as well not exist.
RE: ok so i tried to log out and googled Lindsay Allen – Church of christ
I did too. I can see your entire directory on this page.
https://churchofchristatgoldhillroad.org/profile/
Which is a little confusion because you sites nav links to this page:
https://churchofchristatgoldhillroad.org/goldhill-member-directory-view/
Perhaps you have embedded the the directory on two pages … which may be what you want … or not.
I know you showed a screenshot showing the option to require a login to view the directory … I would double check to make sure that it is in fact enabled.
If it is, did you enabled either or the “Enable public_override” or “Enable private_override” options on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Display tab. If you did, please disable them.
What is your exact shortcode you are using on both your directory pages? It’s possible if you enabled those two option and then used those shortcode options that you are overriding the require login to view setting.
