    Hi

    I read in your docs that we can add thousands of listings to our Directories.

    As you know I have a licensed copy of cMap.

    If I added 2000 Directory Listings to my cMap and then I added 1 YouTube Video Link to each of those listings under the More Info Tab, I would have added 2000 YouTube Video Links with their associated thumbnails to my Directory.

    Now with all those Video Links and Thumbnails contained in my Directory would they generally slow down my main Theme from loading into a Mobile Phone Browser ?

    Or would more specifically the Main Directory Page or any of the Directory Listings themselves be slowed down from loading into a Mobile Phone Browser ?

    Lets assume most if not all of my Website Visitors will be using a newer smartphone and would probably be connected to a coffee shop wifi or at least a fast Phone Provider Connection like LTE or better.

    You would not be displaying all 2000 directory listing on a single page of the directory. The page probably would not even load. Not a Connections limitation or bug. You would not be able to display 200 WordPress posts on a single page either.

    The pagination default of cMap is 20, which is recommended as a max to keep page load times with as little impact as possible. You could possible bump this up to 50 or a 100 without impact but that is very highly dependant on your web host and the amount of memory CPU power you have purchased.

    With that said, you would never be displayed all 2000 YouTube links and respective thumbnails so page load time would not be a concern. Likely your site loading would be the bottleneck, not Google serving its thumbnails.
