ParticipantI asked this by email, but I am not sure you saw it, so I’ll as about it as a possible feature.
At present there is just one simple Search box, would it be possible/difficult to buy an extension that makes it possible to add multiple drop-down boxes, each corresponding to a field?
I attach a facsimile of a widget extension I would love to buy from you :)

I have send you an advanced search extension with usage instructions. I believe this will meet your needs. Let me know if you do not receive this in your email.

ParticipantThis too worked a treat Steve,
I reverted the code to Zipcode in the plugin, to check, and voilá!
You are the Dumbledore of WordPress Wizardry! 😊
I can see I need to set time aside to work my way through some of the shortcode Documentation.. better than having to faff about with Child themes, methinks! :)
Ad Majora!
Bye again!

ParticipantHello Steve,
just a quickie…
any idea why the “Search” text of the Multiple Search button is disconnected from the background? (screen-shot attached…)
I thought it might be a simple matter of it having been configured for a screen with sidebars, and I had it on a page using the full width template, so I tried with one and two sidebars, but no matter what I do it splits them off…

The theme or another plugin is messing with the submit button styles. Likely change a default attribute to something non-standard globally rather than just affecting its own elements. Theme’s are notorious for this. If you can share a link, I can take a look and likely give you a bit of custom CSS to fix it.

Looks like I had some message HTML code for the button. I guess the browsers were able to cope which is why I did not notice it before.
I just sent you a revised copy via email. Install it the same way as before. That should fix it. Let me know.
