ParticipantHi Steven
Not sure if it’s me but I’m not getting notified of any new or existing entries going into the moderation queue.
You helped me fix the database last month, as I’d done it a backwards way (see here)
http://connections-pro.com/support/topic/s2members-plug-in-issue-cannot-update-listings-error-entry-could-not-be-updat/I wonder if there’s something else that needs to be fixed for the emails to work. Two of the plugins were bought whilst the site was in development, so it says that the ‘licence is inactive for this site’ – would that affect it?
Your admin log in is still active from the last thread. If you are able to have a look.
Oh, and sending a test email via the tools menu works, and it shows in the log. Nothing else is in the log.
cheers,

Just logged in and did a test (submitted not logged in) and the emails were sent. Can you let me know exactly the steps you are taking to test?

Participanthmm I received your submission via email, and it shows in the log.
To test, I logged out as admin and logged in as my member account (i’m also a normal member) and edited my listing – it’s in the moderation queue next to your listing, but I don’t get the email. It also doesn’t show in the log.
any ideas?

but there have been 4 or 5 that have been edited by other users that I’ve not received emails for.

I thought I’d log in and get this issue resolved this afternoon for you, but, I seem to be unable to log in. I receive “Max failed logins. Please wait about 30 minutes and try again.” error. Even after waiting. Could you check on this for me?

Ok, I can log in now. I’ll try to track down the issue.

Ok, things seem to be working. You should have just received an email. Correct?
I see you are letting users edit their entry using the Link admin profile page. This does not send email notifications. Form, the frontend editor sends the notification.
What I suggest is enabling these two options on the Settings admin page under the Display tab:
- When this option is enabled a “View My Directory Entry” or “Add My Directory Entry” link will be displayed.
- When this option is enabled a “Edit Entry” link will be displayed. When a user clicks this link they will be taken to a page where they can edit entry.
OR (in addition to), edit the menu URL for the “Edit Your Listing” using the method in this FAQ.
In the meantime, I’ll see if I can add a way for Form to send moderation emails with changes done in the admin.
Hope this helps!
