    I’m working on a site where we want to have a directory of businesses grouped by category and general location (ie same zipcode).

    Then we want to provide the consumer the ability to message the business but not disclose their contact information.

    Then we want to track whether the business replies or not and be able to follow up with the consumer if they haven’t been contacted within a reasonable time frame and keep them engaged.

    We want to report on these interactions so we can help the businesses recognize the missed opportunities they had by not responding. These reports would normally be provided to regional and corporate office levels to help them manage their remote locations business development activities.

    Can these be done with the connections pro environment? can I do it with some additional plugins. Can i get help customizing to do this?

    Thanks for your interest in Connections! Reading over your requirements, I do not believe Connections will be a good fit primarily do to the tracking, records and reporting requirements. Connections is very extensible so it it likely this could be bolton on but that would very much be a major undertaking that I currently do not have the capacity to take or am able to recommend a qualified dev which does. I do try to recommend product when I am aware on one, but in this case I do not know of anything that could meet your needs.

    I apologize that I do not have a better answer for you.
