ParticipantThere apppears to be a conflict between Divi theme and connections. In order to edit/or work on any of the Divi theme pages I first have to deactivate Connections. Then once I have finished editing pages I reactivate connections and all seems well. Any ideas?

There are no known conflicts. In fact I assisted two users just yesterday that were using Divi. I suspect it may be a combination or maybe the memory allocated to PHP is being exhausted. I would try increasing the memory. Here’s an excellent post on how to do it.. There are several methods which one that will work really depends on the web host. I suggest starting at the top and working your way down the list.
In addition to trying that, please share your System Info with me. Create a Remote Viewing URL and share it with me as a private reply.

I took a look at the sys info. It looks fine with the exception that the PHP and MySQL versions are, really, really old. I would recommend asking your host if it is possible to meet the recommended requirements for WordPress rather than the legacy minimum requirements.
Now, that said, I am at a loss as to why editing pages would be an issue because Connections does not even load any assets on those page admin pages.
I’d be willing to take a closer look. I’ll need both a FTP login and a temp WP admin login to debug. The details can be posted here as a private reply.

Well, it seems 1&1 has a hard limit set to 32MB and no matter what you set it to they will not let you account go above that regardless of what is reported.
It seems this is not uncommon with 1&1 and “older” accounts. Doing some searching reveals many posts just like this one.

Unfortunately the general consensus seems to be to switch hosts.
What sad is… according to the limits explained in the 1&1 control panel your limit should be 120M. You definitely are not being granted that amount which is why you are getting this memory errors. As you use more plugins or as WordPress and plugins are updated it is likely that’ll you’ll run into this more and more often.
Sorry that I am unable to find a solution for you!

Let me know how the host changes go. I’d be interested to hear the result. As for the tip jar, I actually have none. If you have a need of one of the more inexpensive extensions, list Custom Entry Order or Custom Category Order, grab one of those then we both get something :)
I do see the failed PayPal purchases. I see that seems to happen 1 or 2 times a month. I’m not sure what causes that since I’ve never seen it happen. I can only guess its a failure at PayPal or something for some reason. Thats for letting me know!
