ParticipantHi,
I’m trying to renew the cMap extension plugin on an active website.
The purchase went through OK and I downloaded the zip file which was incidentally connections.zip not cmap.zip.
I then followed instructions to try and install the new file and received an error message stating that the folder already exists.Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Apologies for the trouble!
I checked the file name, it definitely should be
cmap.zip. Likely the reason you are receiving the error from WordPress which is preventing the installation because it would actually overwrite the core Connections plugin which in turn would cause you a minor headache to fix. I suggest downloading the file again. It can be downloaded from your purchase history under the Downloads tab.Make sure before updating that you first delete the cMap from the Plugins admin page, your data is safe when deleting cMap.
You can then install cMap again.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi Steven,
No problem at all.
I followed your instructions and downloaded the latest version of cMap, deleted the old version of cMap and uploaded & installed the latest version of cMap and noticed that the license expiry date of Connections hadn’t changed to 2017.
I noticed that the core Connections plugin was due to be updated from version 8.5.15 to 8.5.16 so I also updated that and the license expiry date is still 2016.
I’m sure that I’m missing something obvious but if you wouldn’t mind taking a look at this again, that would be great. Thanks!

re: noticed that the license expiry date of Connections hadn’t changed to 2017.
It can take up to 24 hours for the license info is updated in your site’s admin. My records are correct, reflecting the 2017 expiration date. I expect by now it displays the correct date. Let me know if it does not.
